Julianne H. Kuflik, M.D. is a Board Certified Dermatologist of the American Board of Dermatology. She graduated from Tufts University and completed a surgical internship at St. Barnabas Hospital in Livingston, NJ before completing her dermatology residency at the New Jersey School of Medicine, Rutgers University in Newark, where she was Chief Resident during her last year. After graduation, she received the title of Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology teaching medical students and dermatology residents.
Dr. Kuflik enjoys practicing all aspects of dermatology including medical, cosmetic, and surgical. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer and Mohs micrographic surgery.
Dr. Julianne Kuflik is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and reviews articles for dermatology journals including Cutis for which she is on the Editorial Board. Her publications include the online “Acneiform Eruptions” chapter in E-Medicine and Co-Authorship of the “Cryosurgery” chapter in the “Dermatology” textbook.
She was born at the Jersey Shore where she spent the summers fishing, going to the beach with her family, and lifeguarding in Long Beach Island. Today she strongly promotes the use of sun precautions and sunblock while still enjoying the Jersey shore.
