Oh, that HALO glow

The HALO Laser treatment eliminates years of sun damage by triggering your body’s natural healing response to reveal that HALO glow patients can’t stop talking about.  HALO operates using two distinct wavelengths, ablative and non-ablative, to target skin concerns on multiple levels.  When included as part of your long-term skin maintenance plans, HALO improves skin texture and clarity for all skin types and may help delay or eliminate the need for more invasive anti-aging procedures in the future.  The HALO treatment is more comfortable with less downtime than traditional fractional resurfacing.

HALO transforms the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, sun damage, large pores, pigmented lesions, and overall signs of aging skin.  Patients can expect remarkable results in just 2-4 treatments.  Your provider will create a customized treatment plan to address all your skin concerns at the time of your consultation.

What to expect

  • Your provider may place a topical anesthetic on your skin to reduce any discomfort during the procedure.
  • With a topical anesthetic and integrated cooling technology, patients typically experience very little discomfort. Most patients describe the treatment as a feeling of heat with occasional prickling sensations but are generally comfortable. After the treatment, most patients will continue to feel warm for an additional 60 minutes or slightly longer with deeper treatment levels.
  • For the first 24 hours, you should keep your skin protected according to your clinician’s instructions. After the first 24 hours have passed, the treated skin will begin to slough off as new healthy skin comes to the surface. You may experience social downtime for a few days but can resume normal daily activities as desired.
  • You will see initial results between two and five days after your HALO treatment, but your skin will continue to improve over time. Most patients see the greatest pigmentary improvement in the first two to three weeks. This is followed by a dermal regeneration phase that continues to improve for months.
